The Signs of the Close of the Age

In the book of Matthew 24:3-14, Jesus explains to his disciples the signs of his coming and the close of the age. Jesus describes these times saying,

“See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying ‘I am Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” Matthew 24:4-8, ESV

Jesus was warning his disciples not to be consumed by the events that will take place when his coming is near. That these events must take place in order for his kingdom to be proclaimed throughout the whole world.

In the book of Mark 13:3-13, Jesus is recorded saying the same thing to his disciples. That they should not be led astray or be caught off guard when these things arise.

“But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.” Mark 13:9-10, ESV

Jesus was describing the time in which these events would take place and occur. That trials of various kinds would come upon his people. To not be afraid and alarmed when these things are taking place. To be confident in him, and in his words and strict guidelines and instructions to us.

He is with us, and he is with you.

He is with you in the midst of your confusion. He is with you in the midst of your despair. He is with you and he is with us. He is a very present help in our time of need and in the time of trouble. He is present, he is near, and he is with you. He is with all of us here.

In the book of Luke 21:25-28, Jesus tells about the coming of the Son of Man, which is the second coming of himself. He is described saying,

” And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world.” Luke 21:25-26, ESV

Jesus was talking about what is to come in his second coming.

Prepare yourselves now for what is soon to come. The coming of man is prepared for you.

He is here in your midst now as you are reading these words and these strict warnings, to know that it is he who is among you and that it is he who is aware of any and everything that you do.

He is aware of any and everything that you do.

I will leave you with this,

” Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14, KJV

God bless you.

  1. Just wanted to enlighten you by the true words of God NOT how we want to understand them But just how God wants us to eagerly desire to worship in Spirit n in truth. Truth due to Satan has spread so many lies into our lives we can not recognise the truth. Sunday keeping CHURCHES is not taught by Christ. Christ kept the Sabbath day holy Which is Saturday abolished by Roman emperor Constantine in 321 ad and after murdering 50 million Christian’s who opposed his venerable day of the sun Sunday there were no more people left to oppose him they just conformed. Passover was also aboished and changed into easter. Just like the bible says God’s set times n laws will be changed and the world will follow the beast. Xmas does not glorify Christ but is the same way they worshipped the Sun god Mithra.
